Subversion & Trac (bugtracking) Instructions [obsolete]

In an effort to "fit in" better, I have downloaded Eclipse and will seriously try to give it a whirl. The most complex IDE I have ever used is Dreamweaver, having spent most of my days in notepad for the web and pico for C dev back in my early Slakware days back in 1994...

FYI, I just have started playing around with subcommander and it is looking really cool. http://subcommander.tigris.org/

The goal of Subcommander is to build an easy to use, high quality, crossplatform (Win32, Unix, MacOSX)
Subversion gui client (subcommander) including a graphical text diff and merge tool (submerge).

The diff views and revision listings are particularly cool and a great way to be able to see all the older commit logs/messages and the complete history of a particular file. Might just become our standard tool since it works on all platforms, too!

I am not able to access svn using either Eclipse or subcommander.

I use this to access the SVN site http://svn1.cvsdude.com/rethrash/tattoo but I keep getting login is rejected.

Do you have any idea?

PS: I am able to access subclipse SVN using my Eclipse subclipse so I know my Eclipse setting is correct. I think I don’t have permission to access SVN.

Did we ever enable Trac?

Trac is a great tool for bug tracking, collaborating, timeline, etc. The wiki is a great way to tide all of these together.

I’m definitely not a fan of wikis, so I’ve never really been a fan of Trac. I personally find it confusing and totally unituitive.

I think Trac’s single best feature is a nice SVN browser. Plain and simple.

Now that part of Trac is very cool indeed
