PS: I have to admit that the SPForm package hasn’t been released yet. It’s all working and should be released soon, but I’m still tweaking the docs. It’s in the components SVN and you can download the SVN version from there.

Talking about cheat sheets...

It would be great if more cheat sheets where available, I was thinking about that 3 days ago.
an api sheet and dbapi sheet would also be very helpful in creating new snippets etc.
and maybe a event sheet with on there what we could use in a serten event (like what variables are there to use?)

modx cheat sheets, Nice I think that sheets like this will help the community to dive in and help out.
if the river is to deep and to wide the people will stop there, unless there is a step stone to make crossing the river more easy.

but how to begin? we should need template for that i think that all look the same.

That would be cool. Like a flow chart where the whole process of rendering etc. is drawn and where the different points (plugin) events are hooked in.

On the idea of cheatsheets, there is no reason that the tag syntax and usage, API and DB API shouldn’t fit on a single document. They are cheat sheets so the whole idea is not to have the documentation but a quick reference for what functions or methods exists and the format+common usage.

I had started this for 0.9.6 but got stuck on a project. I’ve started a writeboard Google Document for this (I know it’s not ideal but just to get content down and optmized for someone to do the graphic magic on. Send an email to me at jay *at* smashingred !dot! com and I’ll send you a link to the Google Doc.
