SVN download issue? (0.9.6 branch)

All,

The past few days I have not been able to download a fresh install of 0.9.6 via SVN: http://svn.modxcms.com/svn/tattoo/tattoo/branches/0.9.6

I am using Tortoise as I always have, and have had no success on my existing copy, or with a fresh download. I am continually seeing "Locked" issues at various locations within this branch:

Regardless of what I do (even after a cleanup, etc) I still run into this issue.

Anyone have any suggestions?

I did not run into any SVN Checkout issues....weird!

Checked out revision 4298.

Run svn cleanup on your entire checkout. That should solve it; if not, delete those areas from the filesystem (not via SVN) and update.

Jason, I have tried that (in that exact order) ... clean up on the entire checkout fails (or anywhere else for that matter)

Can’t open directory: modx096_svn\assets\media\.svn\tmp: The system cannot find the path specified.

However, when I delete from filesystem and try again, I run into the "Locked" issue...even with a brand new folder/checkout attempt. Too weird!!

Command line via Terminal appears to be working great, however. I’ll try upgrading my Tortoise instance and do some more tests (also against other SVN locations to see if I can’t better understand what’s potentially going on with my setup). Anyone else have any issues grabbing 096 via Tortoise? FYI, I’m running on an older release: 1.4.5 b10425...I’ll see if an update corrects the issue.

FYI, Upgrading my tortoise client seemed to correct the issue! I did run into 3 occurrences where it could not LOCK a file during a fresh checkout, however each time was remedied via a "Cleanup" for the impacted directory.

NOTE: This is on a Mac OSx VMWare Fusion WinXP instance, using a mapped drive (W:) to write to my mac user’s ~/Sites directory. If I was writing to C:/ directly I wonder if it might create a different experience...

If you’re on a Mac, save yourself a boatload of headaches and just grab Versions.app.

In beta and still "free" for now, but cheap in the grand scheme of things when they start charging upon the expiration of the beta period. Works awesome in conjunction with FileMerge for looking at Diffs (free with a Dev acct at apple.com).
