Great site. I love the design and the writing/photography.
We were at Deception pass just a few weeks ago while spending some time in Anacortes. I highly recommend the deception pass boat trip (although I’m not sure Shaun would like it). Some people do bring their dogs along on the boat, though.
BTW, is this sentence in that piece a sign of "Too Much MODx Syndrome"?
We then enjoyed a wonderful hike along the parameter trail before slogging all the way up to the summit on the steep hill overlooking Deception Pass itself.
It made me laugh out loud. It perfectly describes about half my work these days . . hiking along the "parameter" trail, slogging uphill, and ending up at "Deception Pass."
