I agree with the other comments so far. Great idea and great implementation.

I noticed a small bug in the smart history bar. If you happen to be at the beginning of a long list of images and you click the scroll left arrow, it scrolls right, continues past the end of the all the images and displays a blank page. See the attachment.

We noticed this, along with a few other oddities. It’s all on our (long) list of things that will be tackled / fixed / added approx. May or June.

We believe it’s a frontend (JS) issue, and we’re doing tests to see if this is an inherent issue with that particular jQuery plugin, due to the implementation, or maybe even due to the large number of images. Perhaps browsers get too stressed with so many images per category. We’re also discussing whether we should change the imagebrowser behaviour altogether, and only show images of the current time-period, and merely vertical bars for all other periods (direct links). It would dramatically reduce loading and rendering time for visitors. This will be even more important, once we add commenting features.
