Yes, there’s going to be a lot more on TVs, including widgets. Actually, I’m seriously beginning to consider another chapter just on the widgets, and how to "roll your own" (although there’s already an excellent article on that in the wiki).

At first I thought this was just me being too much of a designer and not enough programmer. But then I realized it’s probably the perfect question for your book.

I installed the app. I changed the port info to your recommendations. Opened the browser and got the correct install screen. Named the database. But when I went to enter a Database Login and Password the test connection fails. Any help?

While this may seem like a newbie question it’s the sort that will be asked. Every time I install MODx I have the same troubles (what, 20 times by now). I even keep screenshots to see how I did it the previous time!
