The chapter is by no means finished; I just thought what was done was useful enough by itself to publish.

Interesting. I’m a bit more traditional, I’m afraid.
Wow, those are nice. Is it a business or is it a hobby?

A hobby for now. I used to sell them years ago when I lived in Connecticut, though. I just got started again last year after about 15 years of not having a sewing machine. I’m still limited by lack of a decent workspace, but that will get solved as soon as my apartment’s renovations are finished (this month I hope!). So I’ve been sticking to small quilts, just to get back into practice.
Wow! Fabulous looking quilts!

It’s a lot like designing websites. Know your tools, know your materials, take your time, and pay attention to detail. Oddly enough I’m better at design, color choice and stuff like that with quilts than I am with websites. I’m not sure why, the principles are really much the same.
Maybe because there is no IE6 in quilting

Gorgeous quilts, I have always like the look and specially the feel of them
when sleeping... unfortunatelly they are not popular in my country as they
are in the US

I have read your chapters, front to back, more than once. Great stuff! Thank you.
If I could make a suggestion, about the TVs chapter concerning widgets. I would love to see something that describes how these work. In other words what code they generate/insert, css selectors, behaviors/rules, etc.
I find I have to try them, analyze what is output to understand if it is appropriate for my usage. It’s time consuming and I’m probably missing something important.
Just a suggestion from a newbie. Thanks for all the hard work. I can’t imagine where you find the time to do it all.
Thanks
Terry
