T.L. Lewis - Screenwriter (Using MODx!)

One of our most recent clients has her new site up and running now over at http://www.tllewis.net and is very pleased with her installation of MODx. She is using eForm, Ditto for her blog, Quote Generator, and NewsPublisher. Check it out! Let me know what you guys think.

Very stylish.

Thank you! Glad to know you think so!

That is a nice site, as bunk58 stated it is very stylish. Well done.
There are plenty of nice details. I like how you added the page reference to the search results, that is a nice feature.

Out of curiosity, does the author use the manager to include new posts or is it handled in the front end? This is always a point of discussion (front vs back end content inclusion) and I am curious how you handled it.

@dev_cw

The author uses the frontend to add new blog entries, but she prefers using the backend to add new news articles. She navigates to http://www.tllewis.net/add-a-blog-entry to add a new blog and logs in there. She prefers adding/editing her blogs and her comments this way.

Glad you like the site! We are hoping that it will lead the sale of the author’s most recent screenplay so we can go enjoy it at the movie theater!

Interesting. Thanks for sharing that information.

Very well done! My only complaint is you have music on the home page, but no way to turn it off.

Also some of your pages fail to validate. If you use firefox this plugin is wonderful http://users.skynet.be/mgueury/mozilla/ for validating lots of pages quickly.

Actually, if you mouse over the flash slideshow, the media player control will show up allowing you to adjust the volume and press play or stop on the flash.

Hum... That blends in nicely, but regardless I guess this means I’m back to no complaints.

very nice site, I love that photo gallery. What did you use there?
