We finished our MODx blog a couple of weeks ago and now that there is some content online I can finally show it to you. The most difficult part was to convince JOT to look exactly like I wanted.
Might be also worth a look too see the power of PNGs. Hopefully IE6 will die soon so that we can use them on all sites
Hope you like it:

Great design, I love it !
Very polished, modern design a la "web 2.0" : hats off !
I like all those details like transparency, fixed backgrounds, cool tooltips, great work on the hover effects... Definitely a candidate for the MODx showcase in the Blog category
Plays nice with Safari 3.1

One little thing though : it’s too bad that there is such a different design between the main domain and blog

One good reason to keep a blog running with MODx is integrating design with a website...

Oh thanks! Then it was worth all the work!

WHAT? You don’t like our commercial website?! - Just kidding

Actually the difference is intentional. Germans are a little stiff and I guess many of our clients would not consider us serious web designers if we had only the blog style website. So we have the more simple, more clean and more serious business website and for all who want to see our creative experiments we have the blog. But I’ll keep your remark in mind for the next corporate design refresh cycle a here at Medianotions

I get the gist of it but what does the message say when users who use IE load your site?
