I’m getting an error when installing MODx Revolution version 2.0.0-pl..

This is the error I’m getting:

Errors were encountered during core installation. Please review the installation results below, correct the problems and proceed as directed.

    But, there’s nothing listed below...

Any ideas? I’m kind of knew to php and stuff, so any ideas would be great! Thanks!

Had the same thing last night. No visible errors, but when I checked the source code there were a series of database errors listed.

What errors did you get? Did they help you correct the problem?

Are there any relevant error logs in core/cache/logs? Ones that prefix with "install" and a timestamp? If so, can you paste the results here?

              - PHP Version?
              - MySQL version (client and server)?
              - Apache, I assume?
              - Normal or advanced modx distribution?

Okay, yeah. Your database needs access to CREATE tables. That’s a definite requirement:

I have the same problem listed above... how do I give my database access to create tables?

sorry if that’s a basic question.
                    thanks.

I use IXWebhosting so it’s probably different than yours but I had to log into MySql and just edit the permissions for my database. Do you have any type of log in area? What company is hosting your site? if they have live chat or something you could just ask them... they can probably do it for you in like 10 seconds...
