I can’t tell you how much MODx rules in this respect. Set some stuff up in advance and the site will practically build itself smiley
@david_m and other marketing and foundation folks! Here is a perfect quote for MODx.

    Roan, Nice sites! Great work.

    Cheers,

@smashingred: I can supply many more such gushing quotes on MODx.

I run a web agency in Scotland, and MODx has transformed our ability to deliver powerful, scalable and flexible CMS solutions to our clients. In turn, this means we’re winning more jobs, delivering better work, and making more money. Seriously.

We’re taking on bigger, high profile work and more staff. It’s been that important to us.

Substitute "Scotland" for "Brazil" and this could be my exact testimonial. Well said grin

Nice quote indeed and really great work on both websites : they rock !
I love the web2.0-ish look grin

[off topic]Where are you in Scotland ?
I spent the most delicious 3 weeks this summer on the roads of Scotland... did quite a tour from the Loch Lomond and the Trossachs to Skye and Lewis and then up the west coast to Cape Wrath and then all the way to John O’Groats and ferry to the Orkney Islands then back to Inverness and 4 days at the edimburgh festival : I love this country and I already know I will come back ![/off topic]

But back on topic, those site belong in the modx showcase cool

@davidm: I’m based in Edinburgh, so I’m lucky enough to experience the festival every year. Sounds like you had a great trip. The Orkney Isles are amazing too.

Thanks for all the great feedback and feel free to add to showcase.

If anyone is interested I’ll post some other links to large MODx sites that our agency has launched in the last couple of months.

About Scotland : I did enjoy very much the Orkney (they have great beers), the only thing I couldn’t do is go up to the Shetlands, 17 hours ferry I didn’t have enought time... next time !

About other MODx powered websites : we definitely are interrested ! That would be great smiley

                ok, well..

                The Royal Botanic Gardens Edinburgh
I’d imagine this is one of the bigger MODx sites out there. It’s a major UK visitor attraction and highly regarded educational institution, with over 50 contributors to the CMS! We really stretched MODx to the limit on this one, with custom Modules for events listings/bookings and integration with existing membership databases. 6 month development time.

                Basil Spence Archive project
Another high profile site commemorating one of the UK best known architects. The website supported a touring exhibition and a series of community events across the UK.

We’ve got some more nice ones being released in the coming months so I’ll be sure to post those too.
