Jesse R. the ajax is great. Very good idea (the reloading was a bit old fashioned), leave it to ganeshXL to light the fire. I tried to replicate the bug mentioned previously but was unable to, all the orders made it into the cart and then to checkout as expected.

I cant wait to have a cart application so that I can test this out.

I am trying to add AJAX into areas that make sense as opposed to just for show, and I think it really makes this cart easy to use. The nice thing is that since I designed it to work prior to adding the ajax, it works with javascript turned off smiley I look forward to you being able to implement this and for me to generalize it more based on what requirements you may have.Quote from: Steffen.Larsen at Dec 18, 2007, 06:41 AM

When I add the Chambourcin, and then the Chambourcin Reserve, and then delete the Chambourcin Reserve again, both wines disappear from the cart. First the correct one, and then the other disappears as well.

But I see that it’s still in the basket, it’s just not displayed. If I add another item, it reappears.

Hopefully should be fixed now. The only thing I need to do is update the input values of the GoogleCheckout button before it is submitted. Anyone know how to do that? I tried binding it to the submit(), but my attempt to update the input values based on a json request isn’t happening before the submit goes through.

This is what happens when I try the gcart. Hopefully you can see it clearly...
As you can see the products are added ok, the display goes to empty when
selecting another category and at the end, only the last product added is
in the cart... plus "Age Verification" which I assume is an automatic product (??)

I just uploaded it, so it may take a few minutes/hours (depends on the google review) to be
      really Live...

EDIT: Google Video is screwing my video a bit... I will try tonite with youtube, or if you have a recommendation where to put my video...

I’ll make sure to take a look at the video, thanks for posting it. Right now I still have to fix the button being updated with all the items in the cart via an ajax request.

The crown jewels photos don’t work well in Safari: screen stays dark.

Maybe a link back to the other galleries when done viewing a gallery?

The links from the wines sends you back to the home page?

          Very impressive site. Any samples?

I checked it in Windows Safari and it seems to work fine. Are you using Leopard Safari? I am using Maxigallery there, so must be something with the javascript liabraries if there are issues.

Not exactly sure what you are talking about here. Where at?

I am using a Mac with Tiger and Safari 2.04.

If I go to the photo galleries I see the Keith Cotton, Tasting Room and the Crown Jewels. If I go the Tasting Room all is fine. If I go to the Keith Cotton or the Crown Jewels and click on any of the thumbnails the picture will load but the whole screen, including the image stays very dark. Additionally the prev/next function does not work: clicking the image will bring you back to the thumbnails. All seems fine in Firefox though.

I had the same problem with my MaxiGallery presentation with Safari 2.0. It seems that the z-index in some of the Slimbox declarations is to blame. What is puzzling is that one of the three galleries is working fine? I am very, very new to MODx but I would check to see if there is any difference in the snippet calls for the three galleries?

The one working is using lightboxv2. I guess I should switch over to that.

Can you post the snippet call for the gallery that works? I had trouble getting lightboxv2 to work. In the end I used Slimbox but had to change the CSS (super easy, I have a thread on this in the MaxiGallery section.)

                    I like your site.

Clicking on the Wines tab and then clicking on the individual wines brings you back to the front page? Is there more work to do?

The one thing that bugs me is the bottle on the left: I think the large bottles would read better if they had some padding on both sides.

Some of my clients are in the wine industry (I do photography and web design)

                    Cheers,

                    Max

That is another problem with javascript I guess smiley I am using jquery, and clicking it should just show a hidden div. What is strange is that I use a call to hide all the content on the page load (in case javascript is disabled then it would still work since nothing would be hidden), and the hiding seems to work for you on the load, but the show isn’t working for you on the click, correct?

Eventually when a good portion of our users stop using 800x600 I will probably widen it out and that will allow for some padding on the bottles. Regardless, I changed the link from "#" to "[~[*id*]~]" and that should be an interim fix for any javascript problems you are having.

Here is my exact MaxiGallery call:

                      [!MaxiGallery? &display=`embedded` &embedtype=`lightboxv2` &pics_per_row=`3` &max_thumb_size=`110` &max_pic_size=`0` &thumb_use_dropshadow=`1`!]
