well originally (i thought once) web 2.0 was meant for community building and peer to peer type things.
Modx in that sense is 2.0 but I wonder as people realized ’community’ also meant reaching out via accessibility, designers started trying to make ’boring looking’ but effective systems "look better" this led to he gradient and reflection trend (too name a few) you see now. I wonder what the next trend will be?
But anyways just wanted to also remind of that perspective-ie:from wikipedia for instance:
"Web 2.0, a phrase coined by O’Reilly Media circa 2004,[1] refers to a perceived or proposed second generation of Internet-based services—such as social networking sites, wikis, communication tools, and folksonomies—that emphasize online collaboration and sharing among users. " There’s more (and debate points_at wikipedia ..web 2.0
So you are right either way it was/is just a phrase.
p.s
Farm Visuell: Great site by the way very well done and good use of modx, cant even tell. A tribute to both your design skills and the capabilities/flexability of modX.
(You may benefit from using Short URLS I would imagine..)
