    Well, it’s not finished (needs some css polishing) and not transfered to the production server yet, but the look is a closed deal. It’s voluntarily dark, and looking "serious", but I hope it’s clear and easy to navigate.

    The client wanted this big photo of the "Arc de Triomphe" so when viewed at 800x600 you only see 3/4 of the menu : that’s why I added an accessibility toolbar on top (also, I put anchors on menu and submenu links so that you don’t have to scroll each time you load a new page). You can access menu or content on any page, and also the site plan and contact form.

    I am aware of issues with IE5 and IE5.5 on windows and IE5.2 on Mac, did the full job with BrowserCam. There is work here, but for the time being, don’t be to hard on me tongue

    The directory has been done with the NewsListing snippet, so has the real estate part.

    The test server is slow, I am having issues with Barclay, the TextDrive server I am hosting test website on... It’s not MODx being slow there smiley

    Any input and constructive criticism is, as usual, appreciated...

      Nice site, David! smiley

      Like how you’ve styled the menu and the template looks cool. Good work!

        Typography for "L’annuaire des collaborateurs" looks too big for me and the white space between names is very large
        In the menu on Firefox 1.5, there is a samll part at the right of "Négociations" entry, not a bug but quite strange.

        But it looks nice wink

          Hi David,

          nice site!

          Some hints:

          -Access key "3" is doubled, the last topmenu entry has to be "4" I guess.
          -Just give the last list point a class "last" for example and define in the css

          #menu ul li.last {
          border-right: 0px;
          }

          to get rid of the not fitting border on the top right.

          This one here:

          min-height:375px;
          height:expression(375 + "px");

          seems to let IE5 to collapse the layout. I´m not quite sure why you have this one there. To get a minimum height for both browsers try this:

          #contenus { /* for all */
          height: 350px;
          }
          html>body #contenus { /* be nice to opera &gekko */
          height: auto;
          min-height: 350px;
          }

          this is also valid wink

          The rest for IE5 should be fine tuning. Hate that, too sad

          Marc

                David,

                looking good! Only a couple of things:

                equipe-et-services.html - On a Mac (Safari, Camino) -the "Z" drops to a new line - you may have to make the width of div#liste to about a few px more.

                Also on alphabetique.html - I would make the list a definition list instead of <div> <h3>... So that your list remains semantic. The only thing with a definition list is that search engines are less likely to bother reading it, but judging by your content on that page, I don’t think that is an issue.

                Otherwise, liking it!
