Wow - this is impressive. The little I’ve seen of MODx this far has me eager to learn more - and to use it often.

I’ll confess - you could pretty well call me a newbie to web development in general, and CMSes in particular. I’ve been using Mambo on 3 sites of my own (personal & non-profit) for about 3 months now, and "helping" one of my friends start several more. So far I’m very limited with HTML / CSS / PHP, but hopefully the HTML/CSS part will improve before long. WestCiv to the rescue.

So you may hear me begging for help from time to time. I’ll try to do as much homework as I can on my own, though. And when I’ve gotten enough experience to be able to help someone else, I’ll consider it an honor.

Knowing that this is a project from close by makes this even better. Dallas is in my back yard (I live 30 minutes S of Fort Worth).

Glad to have you playing and always happy to have more folks on board. Looking forward to see what you do with MODx. laugh

I guess there is a welcoming newbie party in here!

Anyway, welcome Eugene. FYI, I’m a newbie to, you can see it from the date I join this forum. Enjoy your stay in MODx.

Cool! I had noticed that the French forum seemed fairly active, but since I don’t understand French...it never really caught my attention.

                    Thanks for the welcome, y’all!
