This may be of some minor help, but someone posted a link to version 0.1, but there’s a version 0.2 actually in the MODx repository in case you hadn’t spotted it: http://modxcms.com/extras/package/?package=292

The problem is that I have searched modxcms site and on google and could not find the actual code to version 0.2, only the documentation. The sources seem to be lost, I attached version 0.1 to a post in this thread since that version seemed to be disappering as well...

If anyone finds the code for version 0.2 it might help but it seemes like shamblett will be able to make something out of 0.1.. I whish I had the knowledge to help on this thing but I have not been able to understand how to use fuse yet, documentation was to hard...

OK, I’ve opened a thread in Development for this, not that far away now, http://modxcms.com/forums/index.php/topic,40916.0.html

If you or someone else gets this working it will become a must have for me, all the copying and pasting takes way to much time and effort when developing snippets and trying complex phx statements.

Well, I found a temporary solution. It’s called Firefox + addon It’s all text! + editor you like (Gvim in my case). You can’t use all features of your editor but this is still much better than copying and pasting or editing directly in textarea.

            It’s All Text!: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/4125

            INSTRUCTIONS:
            1) install Firefox wink
            2) install It’s All Text
            3) open It’s All Text preferences (Tools -> It’s all text -> preferences)
            4) choose your favourite editor (and maybe encoding)

Now whenever you focus any textarea, small blue "edit" button appears in the right bottom corner. Just click it and your editor opens with the content of textarea.

Anyway, I am stil looking forward to working modxfs program smiley

Thanks a lot for the tip, installed it right a way and it seem to work fine until fuse works.
