Yes, Pro version is not free but there is also a Lite version. That is free.

          Hi,

I would like to add my support for this editor also. I would be prepared to pay for the full version if I thought it can be integrated into MODx.

I like the use of Web services for file/image handling (drag and drop from the desktop) and the XHTML and Word Cleanup features.

I understand there is an issue with just ’dropping it’ into MODx due to the use of the <object> tag. Can someone look into this?

          Cheers

          Dean

Looks like a nice editor, the GUI is imho cleaner than TinyMCE’s, but like already said; the pro version has features MODx will need, the lite one will upload files by ftp (not exactly what you want) and misses some options like cleaning Word input/customising the toolbar, which TinyMCE does offer.

One of the guys from XStandard has been keeping in touch with myself and Ryan. I’ve been meaning to sit down and take a serious crack at getting an XStandard plugin written. You’re right about the use of the object tag...it does present a problem. I’ve got an idea or two on how to work around this...but it’s gonna take a little time. As soon as we get everything squared away with the upcoming 0.9.5 release, I should have more time to devote to this. smiley

Well, the name is MODx, and the domain says ’cms’, so I guess even if you want to add something extea, it would be ’cms’ wink
