Here’s a very good idea for future releases, which makes it a whole lot easier to tweak MODx for everybody.
Instead of writing /manager/whatever as static paths in all the scripts, use $managerpath instead, which can be changed from the configuration file or something.

I thought about that, except it’s in the index.php files, where it’s used to include the config.inc.php file...
You can use $modx->config[’filemanager_path’]
Great idea, it’s been suggested a few times and not yet implemented, this time please do file it in the
bugtracker !

Actually, I have a working version on a 0921 install and was in the process of converting a svn 095 when I was asked to wait a few days...
I’ll get an 095 install up and running today and get started, probably have something by next weekend as long as nothing major comes up.
Anyone want to help?
I have a MODx 0.9.2.1 (rev 1005) official release and it is implemented !
How did you get yours to work? I basically went through and found all instances of "manager" in all the files and changed it to "$manager_folder_name"...
I don’t believe we are talking about the same thing here, maybe I misunderstood... I am referring to renaming the mananger folder itself, not getting a path to the manager for use in snippets or whatever
