For reference, Raymond identified the cause of this error which was in sqlParserclass, see (http://modxcms.com/forums/index.php/topic,1292.msg8928.html#msg8928)

Susan has nailed it and here is the fix :
    http://modxcms.com/forums/index.php/topic,1292.msg10954.html#msg10954

This is a temporary fix, she will rewrite the lines involved using mysql_errno instead
    see http://modxcms.com/forums/index.php/topic,1292.msg11065.html#msg11065

it’s definitely a mysql issue... but we’re trying to isolate the exact reason. lol

        • A better admin panel. I think this is on the way, though? More specifically, a tabbed interface that would present less options at a time. It would also be nice to have an advanced and a dumbed-down basic version. I think my clients would be too intimidated by all the options & terminology to use the current one.

        • Events Module. Probably up to the community. (I’m still hobbling away at this, perhaps if I spent more time away from the xbox 360 laugh)

You mean rewrite sqlParserclass with errno ? I might have missed it Susan, if so, I stand corrected smiley

            Gallery 2 ... check

            That kinda stuff? wink

            Gallery 2 is a check?

I would poopie in my drawers to see that in action!!!
I have a small personal site for the hospital I work for [ http://www.meriterisme.com/ ] that has a coppermine installation, because I felt coppermine was easiest to skin, but the login for the site/blogs and and the login for posting photos are separate entities. I woudl LOVE to to see that consolidated.

Any word on a public release of the gallery2 module for MODx? I ended up using Joomla! (for now wink )for a community site with blog, photos, forum, etc..., but I really want it to be a quality site (i.e. MODx driven grin). I can’t wait to see the public release of Gallery and SMF!!! I know you guys have busy lives, and I am not being impatient, just wishing out loud. So, Devs, keep us up to date on the progress (which is pointless to say, because you have the whole time!!!)

For my business, the missing piece is the forum (or a clear path to do my own integration with a 3rd party).

Overall, my experience w/ MODx has been very positive. I’ve only been evaluating it for half a day, and I’m very impressed! Installation was a breeze with my hosting provider, and the core CMS functions seem well constructed.

However, I have a feature set that I have to accommodate for my company. Since most of the threads related to punBB or SMF are stale, and the only Module development tutorials I’ve seen are limited (as is my PHP experience), I’m probably going to head over to a more mature CMS solution (even at the cost of MODx’s simplicity and elegance.)

Congrats on the high ranking on opensourcecms.com! That’s how I found your product today. I’ll definitely keep my eyes on MODx for future reference. Keep up the great work! smiley

I think you would have been pleasantly surprised with what happens forum-related in the very near future ... too bad. wink

                      Can I add my wishlist:

                      • Multilingual / sub sites
                      • A full featured event calendar (as good or better than ExtCalendar 2)
                      • Photo Slideshows / SlideShowPro (the most amazing ajax enabled photo script out there!) integration?
                      • A system-wide tag/category implementation so that all types of content (and all content generated by a snippet) can be assigned a tag so that all data is truly relational and can be displayed/summarized in various ways (think of the power of that!)
                      • Better menu options (CSS display)

                      I’m loving Modx so far..though.... : ) It’s a great place to start building.
