SMF and Gallery 2 already done ? Excellent news for IPB by the way, IPB is my prefered commercial forum and SMF my prefered free opensource one, what can i ask for more ? smiley)

      For eCommerce, i suggest either x-cart http://www.x-cart.com or In-Commerce http://www.in-commerce.net.

My preference is actually xCart but people at InCommerce actually work around integration with others PHP scripts so i guess it’s the right time to talk to them, they should be very cooperative.

Documentation and code sample widgets :
I would like better documentation and code sample for the use of the widget features

          Widget :
To go further, good widgets which directly control script.aculo.us visual effects (exemple horizontal scroll control for big tables or images)

          Image gallery using Ajax features
Also for image gallery module it would be nice to have http request uploading of the images so the browser will not refresh. Roll over on an image will slide an tranparent block on it with the text descrpition coming from the database. And with a little use of fading, it will possible to have a very kind image gallery without the need of flash.

In summary... more sample, better use of Ajax and more widgets to easely control it. It’s too sad to have the power but no easy access to it.

An IPD integration and a shopping cart would get me interested - and being able to enable comments on any page/section you like, based on the integrated forum members permissions.

Enabling comments is simply a matter of dropping the UserComments snippet into the document wherever you like, and configuring it with appropriate arguments.

What are the most urgent additions to MODx ?

Being able to install it ?

I guess I forgot a smiley in my last post grin
I have been able to install all Modx, including the current build, without any problem to infomaniak.ch. I am just having some issues with celeonet.fr and the install procedure undecided

I’ll bet it’s a MySQL version issue. I have those from time to time when cloning databases from one site to another.

it’s definitely a mysql issue... but we’re trying to isolate the exact reason. lol
