Gone away and found a better place to stay
I got the answer from the FrOSCon organization team this morning:
Hello Exhibitors,
although the planning of the exhibition area of the FrOSCon isn’t finished yet
we are happy to tell you, that you will get a booth on the FrOSCon 2009.
Unfortunately we can’t promise you yet, how big it will be, but every project
will get at least one table, two chairs and hopefully a moveable wall for
posters etc.
However it’s quite likely that you will get a booth that fits your needs in the
end, because we have plenty space this year. We will contact you with more
information when the planning of our exhibition area is done.
Kind regards
FrOSCon Orga
Now the real work has to start

We have a table at least. My lecture wasn`t accepted, reasons unknown (beside some boilerplates). The communication (and their website) leave a little negative connotation. But hey, it is a beginning. It is a chance for the beginning of community come-togethers and offline communications. If the convention should be crap we still can drink beer together ;-)
And, as I’m a photo junkie, we’ll have photos of all of us drinking beer
As this year the focus is on Java, they wanted as much Java lectures, as they could get. I know that it is a hard work, to decide what to take for the lectures. They organizing the conference without getting money for their work.

Hi Ronald,
until now I haven’t done anything on merchandise products. I decided to wait until I got the OK from FrOSCon. But from now on, we have to do this work. For example I want to see all people presenting MODx to wear MODx-Team shirts.
What I do have is some companies, willing to sponsor us.
What about you, Ronald, do you come to the FrOSCon?
