I just renewed my Norton 360 premiere last night.
Hope I’m not being ripped-off though. Seems like there are plenty of great, free programs available.
The majority of it is bloated to hell. However for business i use f-secure and personal just something like windows security essentials or avg free.
i use ESET NOD32 . it is one of the best antivirus , i am using it from past 3 years .
I use AVG 2011 free edition. I have never had a problem with viruses since using it but then again if I do have a virus that AVG is not picking up, how would I know? I guess this might be a problem with all virus software.
OMG I had Norton at one point, it was installed by the person I bought my computer from. NIGHTMARE, anyway I didn’t have the program product number so I didn’t have access to MY OWN ANTIVIRUS and I couldn’t uninstall it either. After reformatting my computer for various reasons though it handled that.
Anyway now I have AVAST, the free version, and it’s user friendly and seems to work fine for me. What advice do others have about avast?
i have tried avast, avg, norton by far the worst and i now use macafee as it came free with my new laptop.will post later with how it does,it seems to use a lot of juice at the moment.
I have been using Nod32 and never experienced an issue.
I used Avast Anti virus .........Its best .
