Just noticed it’s been one year exactly I joined this community... I have been blessed with the opportunity to join the team and I must say I am so lucky to work with such talented and fun people (yeah I know sounds like group hug time but I really have learned so much !).
Also, I am very pleased with the growth of the french community, lots of talents have joined the community (some even joined the team like Aour, Guillaume, Soda and Heliotrope) and MODx has enjoyed quite a buzz in the french world
Anyway, it’s been a pretty exciting year and the next one looks just even more amazing !
I think the upcoming year will bring lots of exciting new stuff, not to mention many challenges for me, as far as marketing MODx is concerned... On a more technical side, my MODx experience has convinced me to take the necessary time to learn PHP, which I have not yet been able to do so far. Now I have a week’s training planned in december, and I hope it’ll help me really get started and in a few months, enable me to contribute some code
(at last !).
I remember the day I tried the demo, donwloaded MODx and tried it out, and a few minutes later, I was there registering... wondering how the hell I had missed this great software since march 2005 (considering I intensively scan the OS CMS for a few years now...). It was 0.9.0 at the time, what a great progress ! With 0.9.5 MODx is now fined tuned and I believe already one of the very best web tool around
