LOL... I take it that zenmasters comment was made with more than a touch of sarcasm. Either that or the obvious neuro-chemical deficiencies as indicated by an ardent support of a truly inferior, albeit market dominant, platform have struck yet again (likewise, insert sarcasm here).

And it is in fact a very sweet paint job on the Alienware box. I just happen to be currently lusting for a silver, cheesegrater-faced machine with 10Ghz of processing power on board.

Well, I want an AS/400 (I forget what IBM calls them now). I used to drool over the catalog a company in Miami put out who sold used ones, the cheapest one was five grand. I almost got a job working for a freight company in Miami who was getting one installed; they were going to hire me and I would work with the IBM installers, then continue on as their IT person. My ex-husband’s son was working for them, but this was way beyond him. The day before their IPO went public, one week before I was supposed to start on the job, somebody didn’t properly fasten down a load of old clothes being shipped to South America somewhere, and as the plane angled up to pass over the airport perimeter fence, the load shifted back, causing the tail to drop enough to snag on the fence. The plane ended up skidding across the highway into a mini-mall parking lot, stopping just before hitting the buildings. A bad fire, a dead crew and one dead civilian, no flights for a month, no IPO and no job. I would still be in Miami if that hadn’t happened.

My comment was indeed meant in jest, and humility. No offence meant to ANYONE. I was just feeling like I’d turned up at a party, the only one in fancy dress.

Of course the Mac is a terrific piece of kit. Of course we should all be friends.

Also when I said "... do NOT make you special" I did not mean "you" (the user), I meant "it" (the computer). I still don’t like see through cases though but I appreciate that there are those that do, and I don’t have to have one.

Anyway, back on topic - awesome paint job.
