looking for a calendar

well, they want someone to be able to submit a request to add an event via email. i’m we use groupwise, and i’m trying to sync the two calendars and maybe that will solve my problem. but i am loving this whole google calendar idea.

Well I think the easiest way would be to use eForm and create a onMailSent snippet that sends the info to Google via their API. I dont think this is in GoogleEvents at the moment, but it would be a cool little snippet.

we use groupwise and i can send a request to that using a form, if they accept a rule i made will send it to google calendar. thanks for that link. i bookmarked it and plan on using it soon. thanks for all the advice and help.

I’ve been trying to get Google Events working on my site and having a bit of trouble.  When I hit the URL, I get:

Any ideas what is wrong?  I am running 0.9.6.1.  The snippet call is: [tt][!GoogleEvents? &outputType=`list`&email=`[email protected]`!][/tt]

It’s saying the file isnt there to be included.

I get this:

ERROR: Too many forward attempts!

The request could not be completed due to too many unsuccessful forward attempts.

I also tried hitting [tt]http://<mydomain>.org/assets/snippets/GoogleEvents/php/simplepie.inc[/tt] without the [tt]html[/tt].

OK, I did something stupid. I set the snippet up in Google_Events rather than GoogleEvents. Sorry. I have no idea why.
