That is great! I was a huge DK fan when I was in JR high. FFFRV is one of the best punk albums of the 80’s. It’s good that you bought it. Jello Biafra and the rest of the band went on the outs when GAP wanted to use Holiday in Cambodia for a commercial. "Soup is Good Food".

Arghh why do I own all that on the original Vinyl...

I guess you could do it with MODx but the idea is the local single file approach. No overhead. No network stuff. I have tried to use SugarCRM for such tools and it is slow. The DB and the cruft slows things.

I am starting to use Thinking Rock http://www.thinkingrock.com.au/ it is in java and is a desktop app so not everybody will like it but they have done a great job. I was thinking on launching an open-source version of it in php and online.... but who has the time? and I am just a beginner php coder...

I just called my mom to see if she still has my vinyl copy, not sure what I would do with it, she enjoyed the call anyway. I have not thought about this for ages but now that I took a look down memory lane it turns out that I worked in the recording studio where this record was recorded and the engineer at the time was my mentor and boss. It was my first real job and I loved it, I quit after the earthquake and moved further up north and studies organic farming at Humbolt State. Small world.

I have been toying with the idea of getting the ION Turntable to transfer my Vinyl as I have tonnes of Indy stuff from the 80s and 90s.
