Hi,
i am having a little problem with my site in ie5 and ie7, when i move through the pages their is a ugly white flashing as the page loads.
has anyone had this before?

It’s likely a css issue. Are the images themselves flashing? If so, look at the commented out lines at the bottom of the .htaccess file and enable them.

i have uncommented them, but it seems to make no difference.
not sure what it could be in the css.

Can you give us a link? It’s hard to guess what could be the problem when we can’t really picture what’s going on.

Ok, I’m afraid I’m not going to be much help. I’m running IE from a VirtualPC on a memory-impaired Mac, so it’s loading so slowly that all the images are taking a while to download and display, as they do for any site I view; so I don’t see anything remarkable.

Ah, now I see what you mean... the image backgrounds for the main menu links are taking time to upload every time you move the mouse over them. That should be solved by uncommenting the lines at the bottom of the .htaccess file.
