Thanks spackko for this localisation. I will add to the next release of Gmaps for Revo.

@dflock: gmaps101_331.zip is not a package for revo (should be .transport.zip) but a delivery for evo

Nothing important happened today, so here’s the Dutch localisation!

Thanks, but this is what I get in my Revo manager with GMaps installed. The Upgrade Column says Yes, and clicking it does this:

followed by the message in my previous post. It looks like it’s already at the latest version and this may be a packaging mistake or something?

I am successfull to reproduce your trouble huh
I didn’t understand that you downloaded the package through your favorite provider: www.modxcms.com laugh

          What I have done:
1/ remove my own gmaps from my installation (a remove package, not an uninstallation).
2/ I downloaded the package from www.modxcms.com => Gmaps is available for installation
and then I get the message - Update available - Please select gmaps101_331.zip undecided

If you download manually the package from the repository and you move the transport.zip file it in your package folder you haven’t this trouble.

So, I think it is more a trouble on the provider side than a wrong packaging itself. It’s not normal to have a zip file (not a transport.zip) available for upgrading.

          To solve this point:
          - remove the gmaps package (force the removal)
          - download the revo gmaps.transport.zip in your package folder.
          - search for a package from locally (the third choice)
          - install the gmaps package.
Gmaps should be installed with No updates available.

Perhaps you should ask for help regarding this problem, coroico. I think a lot of people will miss out on this great extra when they find out they can’t download it through proper channels.

Perhaps one of the core MODx developers, like Shaun, can help you out?

Have you seen my Dutch localisation, by the way? grin

Yes, I got your translation, thanks.

I will open a trouble ticket about this issue. [EDIT] Done. See Bug #4551
Gmaps is probably (I’m not sure) the first add-on which exist with the same name for Evo and Revo. So, it’s normal, that we discover some troubles.

                True,

perhaps you could rename them? EvoMaps and RevoMaps for example? Anyways, great work on the addon!

No, I don’t like this idea. These two add-ons have exactly the same features from user point of view.

I think that I could be preferable to keep in mind (and check) that .transport.zip package are for Revo and .zip for Evo.

Used it for this site: http://modxusergroup.de/ (just a temporary site before re-releasing modxcms.de) and it works great. Thank you for Revo port.
