Yes, I’m still a little surprised more folk haven’t picked up on this thread. This really opens up huge possibilities IMO. Esp. with legacy data structures (set up new structure to match using this plugin, import the existing data which is a doddle in most cases, then Bob’s your uncle finished with admin pages to match). Amazing.
Likewise with more complex database requirements seems much better than the default MODx model in that type of site (I know this has been touched on before in the forums).
I would LOVE to see this in Revolution ;-) I understand that Revo is due it’s own visual database tool? Anyone from the dev team wish to comment if that would have the same sort of functionality? If not then I wonder if we could set up some sort of ’bounty’ system for advancing projects like this? Some other CMS use a system where people can donate to a ’bounty’ pool to further projects they’re particularly interested in advancing... (I’d be happy to make the first contribution).
How’s this developing? We’ve used dBEdit in the past for similar functions. Is there a demo / screenshot anywhere?

Thanks for putting this up on GoogleCode.
No work has been done on it - it would require some dedicated time on the part of (at least) one person to learn how it works internally and then grow it from there. Its debatable in my mind whether it would be better to start from scratch or continue previous work..
I’ll try and make a screen-cast later today!

Looks very good! So the items are tied to individual documents? Is there a custom snippet for displaying these items in the frontend?
