    Hi,

i’im trying to use the files for Evo.
i’ve downloaded the package for evo at this address : https://github.com/chorfa672m/modx-boilerplate-evo/tree/master/package

    My questions:

    1. why is there a folder called "core" ? it’s for Revo, no?
    2. if i look in the "site_header.html" file, there are links to, for example, smartphone.css file, but these files are not included in the folder.

thanks for your great job anyway (i just put the htaccess file, it gives speed to display i feel) and for your answer !

You shouldn’t use the package-folder. This has to be removed from repository. Use only /assets/ path!

I have updated the evo package now. It doesn’t include the package folder anymore.
smartphone.css etc is not included in my original boilerplate as it’s only needed if you use media-queries and then you have to decide for your own what to change for mobile view.

This won’t change until MODX-Boilerplate 2 comes out. There will be all included with several other improvements and features. This is expected in August this year.

When did you read this? It is very unlikely that Facebook would kill FBML.
They did for Facebook pages this march. But this doesn’t affect like button, etc.
Another topic is the open-graph thing. It uses FBML, too, but is used for likes and shared links to identify informations displayed on the facebook-wall.

If you don’t want to use Facebook and Open Graph you can remove the whole facebook part. This is in header and in footer and scripts.js.
