Yea I understand that of course Modx is ran by volunteers. My post(s) are not to be mean or anything, just figured it there would be some debate or so on it, either on the forums or in the bug area.

    Thanks

It might help to know that if you are a regular contributor, new submissions are usually approved without much delay. smiley

Remember, too, that even an experienced contributor can submit an add-on with a security vulnerability that could let hackers trash countless MODx sites in a very short time -- so moderation helps us all.

I have submited like 7 templates so far, though 4 of them took like around 3 days to get approved. I kinda am the type that contributes back to something if I like it and use it. Like I also maintain some unsupported community packages in Arch Linux’s AUR, since I use Arch Linux.

Thanks Nathan. Approvals may be a bit slow right now as we’re busy trying to push out 2.0.5, 2.1, Evo 1.0.5 and a new website. We’re turning our attention to reworking the Extras/Add-ons post releases as well as some long overdue forum improvements (including search!).
