The site cache is in the filesystem ( assets/cache ) and can get so big that parsing it just takes too long.

I am doing something like that at the moment and I see no real problems. If the cach starts to mess up I’ll just disable it I guess. The problem with the manager tree is something im gonna work around with an own written news manager module or something I think wink
Disabling the cache doesn’t help.. but it’s solved in 0.9.7.. wink

well im not generating 5000 posts + comments right now
but the backend of my kind of multiuser video blog system should cope with this amount in future

so should i look for another cms ?
when is the 0.9.7 version going to be released ?

thanx for the tipp with tomcat - but to learn how to deal with servlets is a bit to risky for my time schedule in this project

Still some way to go before that happens.. There’s no time frames that I know of, but I’d say before summer. The 0.9.5 was just released few weeks ago and there is still 0.9.5.1 to come..

LifeRay Portal - I tried it, it’s very nice and easy to administrate.

but i run out of time and have to chose a framework now so i just dont have the time anymore to look at the tomact solution
so i have to choose between wordpress, modx or typo3
wordpress as a dummy totaly suits my needs at the moment but very soon i have to extend it like posting via the frontend, two parallel blogs with the same database, forums etc.
i also need a better user management (frontendusers) like modx and typo3 does

I’would tell the app to categorize post to these folders [YEAR]->[MONTH]->[WEEK]->[DAY] and put it in the according folders in y manager tree. still 1000 posts but betta sorted, nicer look. In php of course.

as i mentioned before im a newbe
could you give me a hint please how i can genereate [YEAR]->[MONTH]->[WEEK]->[DAY] site struktur via newspublisher and read it recursively via ditto

              thanx
