    Hi Aaron,

Have installed PHP again and followed your instructions below. Launched Internet Explorer and tried to run the index.php, but it tried to open it again instead of running it!!!!!!! Help, very frustrated...

      Hi Kay,

      Could you do the following

      1) Right click my computer and select Manage
      2) In the computer management screen expand Services and Applications
      3) Click Internet Information Services
      4) On the right hand pane double click Modules
      5) In this window you should have an entry "FastCgiModule" if so please double click on it and tell me the settings
      6) Click the back arrow
      7) Double click Handler Mappings
      8) Here you should have "PHP_via_FastCGI"
      9) Again tell me the settings if you have this, also make sure the paths mentioned are correct and PHP is installed there.

Also at the top of this screen make sure PHP is not listed under the disabled section.

      Thanks Aaron

          Thanks for this,

It looks like the double click work as it shows the fastcgi path could you try these steps next:

          6) Click the back arrow
          7) Double click Handler Mappings
          8) Here you should have "PHP_via_FastCGI"
          9) Again tell me the settings if you have this, also make sure the paths mentioned are correct and PHP is installed there.

You should not need anything checked here did you check the Handler Mappings settings and look for PHP there?

I am away from my Vista machine today which runs IIS7 but I can perhaps later make a short video to show you where you should be checking.

              Thanks Aaron
