I like the fact that the elements break (wrap) if there is no more room on that page.
As far as the images, they are background images for the main menu (not this one). Your idea is a nice one for a web/graphic designer’s site, but not for a client’s website. The only reason being that they would not be able to manage all the icons (nor should they be expected to unless they had someone for that in-house).
But that problem is a separate issue from this one. This issue has been resolved and I thank you for your help, you were great!
