    Yes.

Strict. She will break your heart.

But transitional? She is a little more generous. But her forgivingness of my bad behaviour lowers my attraction to her.

I am thinking to use Drupal, look at www.seobook.com/blog is running on Drupal.

I don’t know which additional plugin is required in Modx 1.0.1 for blogging, can somebody list it for me?

If you want that blog part of his site only, it doesn’t make sense using Drupal instead of Wordpress.
Just my opinion, you can try it though and might get there, too. It’s your time after all. tongue

A good Ditto tutorial that sets up some articles (but this could be called a blog) is here:

        http://net.tutsplus.com/tutorials/other/working-with-a-content-management-framework-modx/

I am currently using Ditto, Reflect, Jot, ManagerManager, and the accompanying templates and chunks to build an end user blog management system in the back end of MODx but still have a way to go.

Basically it will allow the user to:

Select how many articles are view on the blog index page
        For the Side Menu:
Select how many article titles are shown in the most recent blog articles section and whether or not this list is even visible
Support Tagging whether or not this list is visible
Support Archives and whether or not this is visible (I’m having a tough time with this with Accordion for jQuery and keeping it open to where you last clicked when you click, say August under 2008) and again, if this is archive list is visible or not
Select how many categories you wish to display and if this category list is even visible

Once I’m done I’ll release the code for it.

In MODx you will need to build your own using Ditto, Jot, Reflect, Wayfinder and others...
the best will be to use Wordpress for a blog only job...
Or just install the demo content and style it to suit your own needs. The Demo content includes a blog with tagging and commenting.

Thank you very much, now I get the whole picture. Modx is also good for blogging in addition to it ability to build a powerful website.

I shall spend sometime to learn it.
