XML feed help

Hey folks, any chance someone could help me use the feed found here

http://www.teamwarfare.com/xml/viewteam_v2.asp?team=EliteRedBoneRangers

in my modx site and have it as a constructed table?

I’m not extirely sure how to use xml feeds in modx but i did tr FeedX. When i go to the page it have open debug window but no feed.

Is there a way to use the feed above? Thanks

What’s your snippet call ?
Did you change the ?,= and & characters in the feed url as requierd in feedx params?

I tried

[!FeedX? &preset=`rss` &url=`http://www.teamwarfare.com/xml/viewteam_v2.asp|xq|team|xe|EliteRedBoneRangers` &caheTime=`3600` &debug=`1`!]

and in the debug console all the correct info is in there so i’m assuming it’s a matter of putting place holders in the document?

Open the debug console, all infos you need is there.

Create the needed chunk or files (see existing set in feedx folder).

And enjoy feedx

Do i have to edit the tpl files? Do i put the info from there in the tpl files? I just took a look at it and i’ve never used xml before so i’m a little confused. Sorry!

First, you can reference the available placeholders (as defined from your XML feed) for use within your template!

Next, you can lookup the feed data itself (for reference)

Keep in mind, when using the &preset=`rss` parameter, you’re limited to the Pre-Set template for RSS feeds. If you need modification outside of the default template, you’ll have to either update the preset source files (not recommended) or research FeedX’s templating/customization capabilities for use with your feed.
