Has anyone got a front-end editor working for Revo 2.1.3 ?

I’ve spent the last two hours trying to get a number of front end editors working on MODx Revolution (traditional) 2.1.3, without any luck.

I’ve tried UpFront, Frontpage and NewsPublisher, without any success.

Has anyone been able to successfully get any of the above working properly on Revo 2.1.3 ?

I’ve got an update for Frontpage to hopefully allow it to work with 2.1.3, if I drop you the transport package could you do a local install and test it? This would save me time, if it works I’ll push the next release of Frontpage into extras

Harmony, what happened when you tried NewsPublisher? AFAIK, it works in 2.1.3.

We used this add-on but the jquery version that is used is old.
Futher it is a good add-on!

Is it possible to update this in a new release?

Any luck with the getting Frontpage to work (we're on 2.1.1) ? The user see the dropdown topbar, which opens nice upon hovering.

But... nothing happens when they click Edit or Create. However, right mouse click and 'Open in New Window' works...

Yes, its been tested in 2.1.3 now and it seems OK(thanks Harmony), i.e the fix for this seems to work, I'll release this over the weekend when I've tested it in a 2.0.8 install, for now here's the transport package if you want to do a local install and test it yourself.

FYI, I tested NewsPublisher with TinyMCE in MODX 2.1.3 and it worked fine for me.

My firm is getting good results with NewsPublisher on 2.1.1. Simple and easy to adapt. We'll be using it as the front-end for editors on a small commercial publishing system.
