    Please help!
My site http://incognita.day.kiev.ua loads very slow. I tried to scan it with host-tracker.com and it kills the site and Internal server error appears.
log file says this: [error] [client 97.74.126.231] Premature end of script headers: index.php and [warn] mod_fcgid: read data timeout in 40 seconds

I don’t know what to do and I need my site works correctly in short time, cause I will probably be fired in another case smiley

I thought the problem is with cache settings but I am not sure.

Please help me with that, cause I’m in very big trouble and I’m dissapointing in myself smiley

Loaded very quickly for me just now. Clicked around a few pages and they were all reasonably fast too.

      Could be just you?

No, it not only me... host-tracker kills site every time I’m trying to check it. Page generation time takes more than 40 sec.!! 20-30 people in the same time also kill it...

Is it your site, or is it your hosting? If you’re hosted on an overloaded, underpowered shared hosting service, that could be your whole problem.

Hosting is bad actually, but not so bad to load this site I hope. Checking with http://site-perf.com is success and does not kill my site at all.

Maybe I did something wrong with cache setting and overload SQL??? Are there optimal cache settings to use for Revo?
The server is 1Gz, 500Mb Ram, Apache/2.2.3 (CentOS), MySQL: 5.0.77

I have an idea to migrate to Evo, but there are about 500 documents and I would like to spend weeks for migration.

Well, the fact that I can load your pages in just a few seconds suggests that caching might not be the problem here.

I think host-tracker sends a whole lot of requests to your site from different servers around the world. Your server might not be able to handle that many simultaneous requests...

                    Hello,

I would suggest looking into some of the yslow suggestions, for starters:

This page has 24 external Javascript scripts. Try combining them into one.
This page has 15 external stylesheets. Try combining them into one.
This page has 16 external background images. Try combining them with CSS sprites.

If anything it sounds like your server is having issues keeping up, granted the above may be part of why the site seams slow.

The site is absolutely fine right now from here (Montana, USA). I see you are accessing Google URLs on every page, I wonder if that is the problem. Those can really slow things down, especially if they are not cached. They often slow the MODX forum site way down for me when I’m going through a poorly configured server.
