See "Hiding Resources in the Manager" (and the Basic Security Operations if necessary).

Thanks for the link Bob, how I missed that section I don’t know, all I need now it time to read it all.

I have one more permissions issue.
Just been explaining to my client how to update their pages but they could not see the ’Template Variable Tab’ when clicked on a resource.

Not sure where to look for this option. BTW I have deleted my resource groups to fix the previous issue.

Be sure to clear the cache, flush permissions, and flush all sessions after making permission changes.

        If it’s still a problem:

Do you have any Form Customization rules? They can hide that tab.

If not, check the TV-related permissions in the user’s mgr Context Access policy.

Rely not sure why the TV tab was missing.

I also found that restricting the clients view of the files tree to just a user folder that I set up in the assets, broke the upload file function by not inserting the full path to the image.

Anyway I had to give them virtually everything in view except for a couple of top menus as I just ran out of time. They are happy anyways.

I am now taking a few weeks holiday and will try and get my head around the whole ’permissions’ thing in a calm and relaxed environment so hopefully something will click.

Thanks for all you help this week.
