Error message: "An error occurred while duplicating the resource."

The feature had been working okay and this error message just started coming up. I don't get the message if I create a resource using Web>Quick Create>Document.

Has anyone out there encountered a similar thing? Thanks in advance.

My client just reported this same error today out of the blue. I haven't tried/suggested a quick create just yet.

I have not seen this error since upgrading to 2.1.4.

I got this error once today with 2.2.0 rc1, yesterday's nightly build. I had already save the resource, then published it and saved again, getting that message. I finally just closed the form, and haven't had a problem with it since.

For me, de-activating "cache_db" solves this issue.

Aw, crap... back to this problem again. For me, it was okay on several sites with 2.1.3 until today. I just got the error again.

Looked into deactivating cache_db but it was already off by default. At least I think it's off...it is set to 'No' in the System Settings page. That is the 'off' position, right?

Nothing about this error in the error log. Shouldn't there be?

In my case error occurs when i try to save (or choose template for) New Document before i choose Parent Resource.

First error message is : "You do not have permission to create a Resource in this location.
". After that when i try to save document (even if Parent Resource is selected) i get the message "An error occurred..."?

If i choose Parent Resource first, everything seems to work.

This has been fixed in Revo 2.2 and beyond, so upgrading is the best solution to fix this issue.

BTW: do you happen to know exactly what the issue was (is)? In my case, the problem happens when I install 2.1.3 on a certain server but seems pretty stable when I install on another one. However, I don't know what makes one server more stable than the other one in regards to this problem.
