So I thought I would try the manager in Chrome rather than Firefox, just to see if the results differed.

They didn’t, but instead of just showing blank thumbnails, Chrome at least displays the "broken image" icon (image attached).

By right clicking and copying the image URL on the broken image icon (where it is trying to generate the image thumbnail for the TV), I get this URL:

    http://future.thefutureforward.com/~steady/connectors/system/phpthumb.php?h=150&w=150&src=images/WORKSTEAD_Home_Image_2000x1500_w.jpg&basePath=/home/steady/public_html/assets/&basePathRelative=0&baseUrl=assets/&baseUrlRelative=1&baseUrlPrependCheckSlash=1

Perhaps this will shed some light on the path being incorrect? I don’t really see what I need to change in the file system path settings based on this, but let me know if you do.

    Thanks!

Not a Revo expert either but I see that you have two .cur files in there. Is that an accepted file type? I can’t see it on the list of acceptable files types from your screen print but perhaps the list is cut off in the image. Have you tried to take them out to see what happens? Only asking because I had an issue in an Evo installation where there was a single file in my Images folder that the system didn’t like (in that case a file with an ’accent’ in its name) and none of the thumbnails for the entire folder would display. As soon as I took that file out, the thumbnails for everything else came up.

        Hey All,

Sounds like this is a known bug being fixed in an upcoming release (this week) - http://twitter.com/#!/splittingred/status/88252050491703297

          Hi All,

I’m still having this problem, even after upgrading to 2.1.3.

          Screenshots attached.

              Hey dubbs,

I did. The fix happened when I went from my development URL (http://future.thefutureforward.com/~username) to the live URL, without the ~username. I’m sure there’s a way to get it work at a URL like that, but I couldn’t find it.

Is not the path to change the error, or is the picture format issue.

Not sure for Revo, but if the site was migrated from a development location, it could be worth checking that the images thumbnails were transfered too. For instance, the FCKeditor browser misses regenerating lacking thumbnails.
See this post, which was for Evo:
