Revo uses xpdo to make the cached connections to the db. When building code that uses new tables in the db, you have to run the xpdo file to set the connections.

Actually - I’m not the primary coder... so my knowledge of what xpdo is and what it does is limited. I just know that when we add new custom php snippets that use new tables in the db, we have to run our xpdo file to make it work. It writes files to the connectors file.

    Hey! ...looking there now...

By any chance is your error reporting off? I wonder if php is having trouble communicating with your DB. Are you able to see the php error logs on your server?
I think my reporting is turned off. However, when I re ran my original set up file per the instructions, I got the all clear message from the installer that check the db connections. and now that I’ve reinstalled the base package, the site runs fine.

I also worked with my hosting company and asked them to check my logs for error - which they did and found none.

I am currently attempting to update the working version with my actual files. ...wish me luck...

OK - I finally got it working.

I installed 2.0.8 from the downloaded installers and verified that my base installation was working properly.

Next, I had my existing database on standby and created a new database on install. I opened my /core/config file and changed the data connections from the new install to my existing one. Upon login to the manager, I was able to see that the db was properly connected and showing me the correct doc tree and packages from my existing site.

Finally, I copied my existing assets and components directories to the new server. My site is now running on my new host!

To me, this method was way more efficient than the directions I found on the site.
