    Thank you - yes I found it!
    I enclosed it inside the comment tag and now it is gone.
    Could you please tell me how did you know that I should look into the content box?

      Great, glad I could help smiley

      I knew it would be in {{content-box}} because the designer has done a good job of labelling the various elements. Anything labelled with ’content’ is going to be where the main text, headings and images are likely to end up. As opposed to ’header’ or ’menu’.

      If you’re going to be managing the site it would definitely be worthwhile reading up a little on how MODx works, especially the differences between templates, chunks and snippets. It’s not complicated at all once you know your way around. Have a look at the docs, especially the section on designing which I think you will find very useful!

        hi lucas you’ve been very helpful

        I will take time to read the links you sent.

        By the way, I have another problem...The text is too close to the header.
        I tried to add this: <p>....</p> for the whole sentence but then the whole text messed up.

        also I added,
        but this was shown on the page
        What would be the cause of this?

        I would like to add an indent...

          You removed the title so now the copy has moved up to fill the space where the title was. You can fix it easily by adding a bottom margin or padding to the breadcrumbs element.

          Do you know how to edit the stylesheet?

            hmm not really but I can try...
            what do I need to do?

            where can I find the breadcrumbs element?

            I found "Breadcrumbs" under snippets

              Ok we’ll do it the quick way then - although not the best way to do it.

              Go back into your {{content-box}} chunk, and where it says...
              <markdown>[*content*]</markdown>

              ...change it to:
              <div style="margin-top: 2em;">
                 <markdown>[*content*]</markdown>
              </div>

              However without seeing your stylesheets there is a chance this could mess up your site layout, in which case just revert back. If you want more space, change the ’2’ to 3 or more until you are happy with it.

              If you’re planning to make a lot of changes to the site, you might want to hire a designer wink

                thanks

                Where can I find the stylesheet then?
                I logged in to our FTP and I saw a lot of css and I’m not sure where is it exactly?

                  Have you tried what I suggested? No need to go into the stylesheets...

                    Thanks

                    But if in case I have to edit something in a stylesheet, where do I go?

                      It depends on how the site has been set up, but usually you will find css under:

                      assets/ templates/ *yoursite*/ css/
                      (using your ftp program to browse the files)

                      Where *yoursite* is the name of the template the designer created for your site.
