    Hi Frank . . . thanks I just took a look at
    http://www.athomestables.com/index.php?id=5
In IE and those spaces that I as complaining about are on that page too. There are "blank buttons" below each button area that contains a flyout navigation. So it looks like it is also showing on your page too. I am viewing it through Internet Explorer 8. I also looked at it on a different computer outside of the network and the problem is still there. On one computer the spaces disappear but the flyout buttons appear a button below the parent button causing me not to be able to access the flyouts as I have to leave the parent button to travel to the flyout, so they disappear. Maybe I will need to get another set of flyouts. What do you use if you use flyout navigation? To bad since they look great in FireFox.

That is what I see in your "normal" menu, the flyout one button below the parent.

I never used flyouts before, I have used the dd acordion menu and (uhoh) just finished a config for that one check here.
I am however first going to test that and then post it.

I took another look and the buttons look good now in IE on your link. Did you tweak it at all?

Yeah the config file has a problem, I just compared with the one from the flyout. Copied pasted some stuff over and here you go. Been looking on the wrong place.

Can you send me the config file you are using? That might have done the trick smiley

I will attach it here, can you in return attach it to the very first post and write that is s a re-write of the original etc. Because I think there is a problem with the original config.php file,

                Frank.

Here the corrected cssplay-flyoutrev02.php file. Rename attached file from *.txt to *.php and upload to the assest/snippets/wayfinder/configs folder. Simply add the following call in your template in the place you want.
                [!Wayfinder? &config=`cssplay-flyoutrev02`!]

And alter the assets/snippets/wayfinder/examples/cssplay/flyout_revisited.css file to suite your needs.

I did try that but still left the gapping spaces in my navigation.

I noticed that the whole problem is clashing CSS rules from the template that is used and the menu styles.
Its just a matter of isolating the CSS of the menu

I know . . . I can’t retreat on this template though. No idea on how to isolate the CSS of the menu.

                      thanks,
