But my mistake, I think that he want a backend made with flash which will keep the actual connectors (Like Carbon), which is a bit complicated. Not impossible, but requiering a lot of time...

But why would you want to replace HTML semantic code, with heavy flash non semantic code on the backend?

that he want a backend made with flash
No, back-end cannot be made in flash. It’s a pure front-end technology.

Let’s just say the reason is something about flash ideology. I’m not much familiar with modx architecture... was just wondering in a roundabout way...

I wish I kinda just could make a front-end implementation using modx backend engine...

I don’t know if it’s politically correct to ask it it here:) But anyway...

Maybe you guys could advice my some cms, whose structure is not relying on the format of frontend. So I could just had an already done cms back-end, and later implement my own front-end. Hope it’s understandable.

            rawmantick,

You can have MODx output anything you want. You can drive a pure-Flash website if you wish. It’s been done on more than one occasion. You can find an article on one primarily-Flash website on the main website:

I don’t want a flash website driven by MODX. I want a flash MODX.
Man, nothing personal. Put some attention to previous posts before you post... I saw that link before I’ve created this thread. Sorry if too rude.

I wonder if that’s possible to create a pure Flash front-end version of Modx CMS. All back-end stuff like database management, accounts, all the usual functionality of Modx is still on itself. But the rendering front-end is implemented in Flash.

Oh, sorry man, and thanks! Cuz like what I can catch from that link - is that I can easily build an xml driven flash website (which is so common) and then just generate desired xml’s for it. However that’s not what I need. I’d love to have a modx admin part’s front end in flash. Maybe even some flash templates for live previews. Something like that. Please, give me the direction to dig if possible. Thank you. And I apologize again if I get something wrong.

That’s where you need to more precise.

What are you calling MODx Admin part’s ?

When I open MODX (not a website driven by MODX, a MODX itself) admin system in my browser, I see HTML. I want to see flash. I don’t know how to be more precised...

I’m not telling about any website. MODX itself in flash.
