I’m happy to see the long awaited release fo the 2.0 beta. I also like what I hear is in the works for 2.1. I know the future is hazy, but when do you hope to release a beta for 2.1? In one year?

      Question -

If I build a site in 2.0 and then you come out with 2.1 - is there going to be an upgrade path so I don’t have to rebuild? I like the backend of the Revolution. so just wanted to double check before I commited. smiley

That all depends on how many people test and file bug reports for 2.0, currently in its first beta release. wink

As with all MODx releases previously, a smooth migration path is a core concern. The answer is yes. smiley

              What’s hot in revolution?

Well, let’s find out now that it’s out.

I just realized it a few minutes ago and I’m impatient to take it for a spin.

If all of Us can report bugs, I’m sure the MODx team would appreciate it.

Is it normal that there is no text editor (TinyMCE) even after enabling it in system settings and selecting it in the dropdown menu? (Editor to use::)

I’m trying to create a dummy page to test new features and yes, it is a rich text document, but there are no editors insight

You’ll first need to download TinyMCE from Package Management. Then clear your cache, and try again.

I posted a bug about it but no answer was given. Thank you for the solution! I’m going to try it now but it will be great to have it installed by default.
