    On the following site;
    http://hydeawayspa.com/spa/day_spa.htm

on the main page there is a menu of items ’body treatments’ ’ massage’ etc. My client wants to do something like this for their site. I can create the same effect in php using images and bgcolor but I was just wondering id wayfinder can do it easier.

    Thanks for the help.
The important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existing. One cannot help but be in awe when he contemplates the mysteries of eternity, of life, of the marvelous structure of reality. It is enough if one tries merely to comprehend a little of this mystery every day. Never lose a holy curiosity.

Not really, since Wayfinder builds its menu from separate resources as visualized in the Resource Tree. This page is using anchor tags to sections of the same page. Totally different process.

          Hi Rhyno,

Easiest way to do that would be with ditto and using 2 calls ( left, right ).

So you would have a left ditto call calling all cats under left, and a right ditto call calling all cats under right under the parent doc.

If you know PHP then you could do exactly the same thing by putting your PHP into a snippet and calling that or using the extra PHX ( I think that’s what it’s called but I could be wrong ).

I was thinking... maybe two Jot calls? Using two different comment tpls? And custom fields for the anchor/name pairing.

Well, it is currently going to another page... the client likes the graphical elements of the hydeawayspa site.... I am keeping the separate pages, just wanted to know if I could accomplish this task with wayfinder.

Hmmm worth the thought but would it be worth the work ??

I was thinking to have it done more like this page ( http://hydeawayspa.com/products/spa_products.htm ).

Same layout but without the anchor tags so more front doors into the site grin

for that I would use ditto, so you have a parent doc and directly under that you have left and right docs, then under them you would create the docs to be published via ditto, you would then have 2 ditto calls each using a different template ( one for left one for right ).

Each would have a template for image ( for the image to be shown ) thewn its own styling calling in the longtitle and introtext for the teaser.

Have a play and see where you get then come back and ask grin

Thank you for the info though.

Ditto is already built into modx so really easy ( easier than snippets )

Have a look through the ditto forum and I’m sure you will pick it up in no time wink
