Social Networking .. again!

Hey Guys ..

just to let everyone know .. we at ZombieTuesday are working on a social networking solution for modx ..
it will take the form of a collection of snippets, plugins and modules both new ones and some altered favourites! it will all be centered around webloginPE as the main profile creation source and should be ready some time in the next 2 months.

things I can confirm it WILL have :

A total site wide messaging system including inbox, sent, trash, etc
Profile commenting system,
Buddy listing
A wall of some description
different group user levels
user gallerys

there may be a few more bits as well yet, not finalized.

Ill let you know more as it gets completed

hope it will help some of you out!

Cheers
Martyn

That’s good to hear Martyn.
I seem to be spending more and more time with webloginPE customisations.
Keep us posted

That sounds fantastic. I can’t wait to see how it works.

Thanks

Oh! It’s very good news! I can be a beta-tester and I can translate it to Russian, because I’m from one. So, I will test it to i18n.

I wish you great successes!

Nice! I can help with translating it to Dutch if needed

Count me in for french translation

Indeed fantastic idea, eager to test this out !

Sounds really cool.. Looking forward to it

currently needing to alter Jot so it works based on user ids passed in the url rather than on doc ids .. anyone got any ideas on this ?
