    Wow, you tracked it down yourself!!

    It’s mentioned in the old wiki http://wiki.modxcms.com/index.php/Installation_Guide
    They don’t link it from the site because they want us to work with the new one.

          I create a style sheet for the timymce to match the size and attributes of the website. This way my clients can see exactly what the text and images will look like before they post them. It’s been very helpful. It’s not a big secret tip but one that I use on every site.

          @charset "utf-8";
          .mceContentBody {
          	padding-top: 0;
          	padding-right: 0px;
          	padding-bottom: 0;
          	padding-left: 0px;
          	width: 760px;/
          	border-right-width: medium;
          	border-left-width: medium;
          	border-right-style: solid;
          	border-left-style: solid;
          	border-right-color: #CCC;
          	border-left-color: #CCC;
          }
          .mceContentBody h1 {
          	color: #761B5E;
          	font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", Times, serif;
          }
          .mceContentBody h2 {
          	color: #73A01F;
          	font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
          }
          .mceContentBody h3 {
          	color: #000;
          	font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
          }
          .mceContentBody h4 {
          		color: #000;
          	font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
          }
          .mceContentBody p {
          	font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
          	font-size: 16px;
          }
          .mceContentBody ul {
          	background-color: #E9F9FE;
          	padding-top: 5px;
          	padding-bottom: 5px;
          }
          .mceContentBody li {
          	font-size: 16px;
          }
          .mceContentBody .fltrt { /* this class can be used to float an element right in your page. The floated element must precede the element it should be next to on the page. */
          	float: right;
          	text-align: left;
          	margin-left: 8px;
          	border: medium solid #3A54A1;
          }
          .mceContentBody .fltlft { /* this class can be used to float an element left in your page */

              Where do you add the style?
              You can place it anywhere, then in the TinyMCE plugin select properties and there is a field tell it where the css file is.

                Upload the CSS then put the style in Tools|Configuration under the Interface & Features tab toward the bottom where it says path to CSS. Put this line "float left=fltlft;float right=fltrt" in the last section called CSS selectors to float your images left or right. (You also have to have this class setup in your CSS for your site.)

                  Hi Everyone

                  Thought I would share this for people who want a really really quick and elegant wayfinder menu.

                  I made a css solution for nested lists, that requires absolutely NO css in the html - no template crap, no id’s, no classes, just really basic default semantic nested lists.

                  http://blake.ecenturyserver.co.uk/purecss_dropdown.html

                  So simply wrap your wayfinder call in container and menu inner id’s like such:

                  <div id="menu_container">
                         <div id="menu_inner">

                            [[Wayfinder? &startId=`0`  &level=`2`]]

                           </div>
                         </div>

                  And voila, you have a horizontal list nav for top tier, second is a vertical drop down, then all subsequent children slide out the side.

                  Perfect!

                  Let me know what you all think - hope it is useful!

                  complete code follows:::

                  <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">

                    Very nice. smiley

                    I’m guessing that IE6 would have problems with it, but that’s getting to be less and less of an issue.

                      I was looking solution to work side by side with modx and existing pages in same folder. Couldnt find the way to do this from config.. or doc / forums / google.. But this seems to do the trick. There is only one problem with navigation made by wayfinder: Site start -page goes to modx root instead modxroot/index(_TEMP).php?id=sitestartID

                      Perhaps there is better solution. I’m not so familar with modx ..yet.

                      Anyway:

                      1. Change the (modx) index.php to index_TEMP.php
                      2. Open manager/includes/document.parser.class.inc.php
                      3. Go to line 1565 ($url= ’index.php?id=’ . $id . $args;)
                      4. Fix index.php to index_TEMP.php

                      After ya ready to publish new modxsite, just rename index_TEMP.php back to index.php (and the line 1565 of course).

                      Why? Well, i dunno what i did wrong last time when i moved this new modx site to webroot, but there was some problems. And after all.. i’ve used to do my own progs with config-option like: $mainFile = index.php smiley
