I can only speak to services I’ve used.
Mosso, and siteground are bad. Siteground customer service keeps getting worse and worse. You get 3 tickets per year, and they nickle and dime you.
I have had good experiences with dreamhost and have heard good things about mediatemple (but you might as well get a VPS at that price).

I’ve had good luck with Site5 and I seam to recall ScottyDelicious also uses them, granted he is on an older server.
